Levenhuk Rainbow 50L PLUS Azure Microscope
Perfect gift for a biology enthusiast. Experiment kit included. Magnification: 64–1280x.

First experiments, laboratory work, or serious research – modern Levenhuk Rainbow 50L PLUS Azure Microscope comes with a variety of different tasks! The rich experiment set and excellent technical characteristics will be highly appreciated by both beginning and experienced users. The instrument provides a wide magnification range and is suitable for viewing a huge variety of samples (transparent and opaque). And, of course, we should mention its beautiful and original design – the azure colored microscope would make a wonderful gift for any microcosm enthusiast.

Optics
The microscope comes with three objective lenses: 4x, 10x, and 40xs. The most powerful lens (40xs) is equipped with a spring mechanism – even if you accidentally hit the slide with the objective lens, this special lens will spring back, preventing any damage to the lens or the slide. Moreover, the kit includes a 2x Barlow lens – this lens doubles magnification of the objective lens.

The lenses are made of quality optical glass covered with multiple layers of anti-reflective coating – the images will always be bright and sharp (image quality is crucial when observing at high magnifications).

Illumination
The microscope has two built-in LED lights with adjustable brightness. Lower illumination is needed to observe transparent samples, for example thin slices of animal or plant tissues. To work with opaque samples – paper, coins, cloth – turn the upper illumination on. The microscope is also suitable for observing semi-transparent samples (with both lights).

Body design and power supply
The instrument has a reliable metal body – it can be used intensively in school or university laboratories, as well as in medical institutions. The head is inclined at 45 degrees and rotates 360 degrees around its axis – it prevents any fatigue during observations, and allows to turn the head into the desired direction instead of moving the microscope itself. Illumination runs on AC power, as well as on batteries.

Experiment kit
The Levenhuk K50 Experiment Kit has everything needed to make your first step into the microcosm: Ready-to-use microscope slides, blank slides for creating your own samples for observations and conducting many interesting experiments.
